The truth of the matter is, it’s hard to be pure. Our sex saturated culture doesn’t help the situation either.
Sex and flattery sell just about everything that is on the market today. Sex education permeates our public schools, and the Internet gives access to all sorts of perversions.
The trouble is, for all of these excuses, purity is still a choice of the heart. It’s a choice that is made by each individual at a given time—and though you can make the argument that some do not take the time to sit and think through purity, the choice is made just the same.
In this series of posts I’d like to take a look at Purity, what it is, why it’s important, and how we can practically be pure in a sex drenched society.
