The Border Bill from the Senate came out over the last weekend, and in it is the power that Pres. Biden says that he needs to close the border, which he will use on day 1.
However, former President Trump is calling him out, saying that he’s done a lot that was within his power to make the problem the worst it has ever been. He points to the fact that he stopped Trump’s policies, he placed moratoriums on the deporting of illegal aliens, and, I would argue, has thereby made the United States a magnet for those looking to take advantage of our safety nets.
