Trump is Exploiting Biden’s Weaknesses

I’m seriously beginning to wonder if someone’s planning to replace Biden before the convention. When you see the polls and realize that Trump is beginning to open up other states… that makes me wonder if the reason for the first debate happening before the convention is to have Biden fail and then they can convince him to step aside for someone else.

I’m reading “Trump Visits Minnesota, Hoping Its Political Divide Will Put It in Play/The Trump campaign says it can broaden the electoral battlefield with a play for Minnesota, but the state has disappointed Republicans for decades” (NYT).

Hoping to put it in play? Clearly, it is in play, and Trump is forcing Biden to defend. Meanwhile, Biden must win all of the battleground states — Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania — just to edge out Trump in the electoral college. Trump has so many more ways to win.

Source: Althouse: “The Trump campaign believes it can capitalize on — or foment — a backlash to the leftward march of the Twin Cities and still-fresh memories…”

The last thing that they can let happen is a Trump win, so maybe there’s more at play here than we think.
