Rut, Rot, or Revival By A.W. Tozer |
One of the books that impacted me greatly in my desire to serve in the church is A.W. Tozer’s book entitled Rut, Rot or Revival. In this book, Tozer takes on the greatest problems that we face as a church body in the present day– a day in time where churches seem to compete with all forms of entertainment, sports and the like.
In this short, fifteen chapter book, Tozer expounds on different passages that talk about everything from the Christian’s Greatest Enemy to The Great Test: Modifying the Truth.
Over the next few weeks I’d like to review chapters of this book and use them as springboards for our discussion of where the church is today and where it is going. I won’t guarantee weekly updates, but this will be a new series and you can track it there.
I encourage you to click the link above and get this book from CBD. I will get a portion of the price, however, you will find this book invaluable in its insight. I’ve already lent it out to two different church leaders that have returned it saying that Tozer really hits the mark in here, and I believe that you’ll be a better Christian Church Member for reading it.
