You cannot get around the fact that President Biden is old, and not in the best of mental health. For the longest time, Team Biden was hoping that one of the court cases would take out former President Trump– and I think that’s still the main game plan.
One of the backup plans seems to be to do whatever it takes to make it seem that the issues that everyone sees Biden face are also Trump’s problems. But no one who watches these two men thinks that they’re anywhere near the same.
Trump does take a long pause as the music swells, but it certainly looks nothing like a “freeze.” He doesn’t appear to be confused, or looking for words, or unsure what to do next. This by the way occurred after he’d already been speaking for an hour. In other words, the Biden team’s take is completely disingenuous.
