One problem with the path toward citizenship and the right to vote for those who came to the country illegally has been that when they are crossing the border they are getting notices to come back to see about asylum some 8 years later. That’s a long time to wait for new Democrat voters, so the President is pursuing a different strategy to get his new voting block:
The plan would grant migrants who have been in the country for more than 10 years access to the cancellation of removal program provided that they have relatives who would suffer if they were deported, according to Politico. Migrants could then receive a green card — a permanent residency grant — if they meet the cancellation of removal requirements and an immigration judge rules in their favor.

I believe he’s going to do the same thing that most modern Presidents do, and what he’s done more than any other– move forward to grant it and dare the courts to stop him– and then if they try to, he’ll do it anyway.
The modern, powerful office of the President and the administrative state needs to be reigned in, and soon.
