With the Hur report about the classified documents wrapped up, all of the conversations have shifted to what has been painfully obvious for some time: That the current occupant of the White House is not equipped to lead this country now, and not for another four years.
In a post entitled “My brain wants to delete everything it’s heard from people who have spent time in [Biden’s] presence in the last year. (It’s not encouraging.)”, Ann Althouse points out the obvious– those who are in the White House have been saying things that the press has been willing to chalk up to anything else but the obvious for some time. But they cannot do this any longer.
The White House Correspondents Association was asked by the White House to soften their coverage of the situation, and they said no way. The Biden team tried to have a press conference to help– it didn’t. They’ve tried to bring Biden outside more, and he makes it worse. And now, there’s questions about whether what’s happening in the White House could amount to impeachable offenses.
The use of the White House to spread false claims about these investigations is a highly precarious practice. It can be the thing that impeachments are made of. Ian Sams, spokesman for the White House Counsel’s Office, has been especially aggressive in attacking critics of the President and spinning these reports. He was recently confronted about false claims in connection to the Hur report.
The use of White House staff to carry out an alleged disinformation campaign can raise alleged violations of the public trust and misuse of federal staff and resources. Such allegations have been included in past articles of impeachment and would be most serious in relation to the ongoing investigation into influence peddling by the Biden family.

Not that President Biden will be impeached, and he certainly would not be removed from office!
What this says is that some people are so eager to not have former President Trump resume the presidency that they are content with someone operating President Biden like a puppet, with Kamala in the wings, then they are admitting the truth.
If they really wanted this issue to go away, the most surefire way would be for President Biden to agree to a debate, right now, with former President Trump. But we all know that’s never going to happen.
