How Many DINOs Are At the Convention?

profile3_obama This has been a strange year when it comes to elections.  This is the first time that many Republicans registered as Democrats to be able to vote in Democrat primaries across the country.

Some of these joined the party because of Rush Limbaugh and his “Operation Chaos” trying to delay the selection of a nominee until the last possible moment.

The funny thing is that some of these “operatives” could be in Denver right now!

The other class of DINO (Democrat In Name Only) are voting for McCain because they cannot get Hillary.  Though technically not a true DINO, they’re casting their vote like one.

Personally, I’d like to see what would happen if they let the roll call vote go from the floor today.  If I were Obama, I’d want to make sure that I was really the nominee.  I would think that’s truly the only chance he has at getting these disaffected Hillary supporters.

I mean, this is the party that chants “Selected, Not Elected” at President Bush because of the 2000 election.

Doesn’t it seem ironic that they should now be selecting a nominee without letting all the votes be counted?

  1. I don’t even know what to think or believe with this election. It has been very odd.

The Dems keep flip-flopping back on forth on important issues and can’t quite get a grasp of what they really want to convey.

First Hilary hates Obama and now she seems to be one of his biggest supporters. What are her supporters supposed to think? Obama was just as bad bashing Hilary.

Best buds, now? I don’t think so.

  2. How many do you think switched due to Rush’s Operation Chaos? I always thought he was being tongue in cheek – and that probably some listeners did as he suggested – but wasn’t sure it was enough to make a difference. I’m interested to hear how many did so?

  3. @Leticia: A lot of the candidates seem bruised on the Democrat side– with Biden talking about how unprepared Barak was, and now being his VP pick. This is what comes to pass when you spend all your time talking about the other person and not about your plans and who you are.

  4. @Holly: I know, it’s hard to separate his shtick from reality, but I do know that a few people called in– one in Texas said that he was going to the county convention and thought he had a good shot at the state convention.

I think that especially near the end people crossed over. Obama’s people quoted 10% in one of the late states.
