How Far Along Is She?

Sheri PrescottThere’s nothing like children when it comes to blessings from the Lord.  They are a gift from God like no other.  I think far too often those of us on the pro-life side don’t say enough about the value of a child, and the great blessing children are.

Yes, we talk about the feeding schedule, the diapers that need to be changed, the sleep we’ve lost, but there’s nothing like the bond that forms, the value they add to your lives, and the chance you have to be a part of another eternal being’s life.

So, as a cute way to highlight the blessing that is pregnancy/child bearing, if I find a picture of you / you’re family and you’re expecting1 I’ll set up a link and we can all wish you well, pray for you, and guess just how far along you are!

This is Sheri Prescott, and she’s expecting #3– can you guess how far she is along?

  1. Okay….that’s a definite way to draw in the female readers. 🙂

Is this a trick, MIn? Maybe she is seven months along….and just carries well!

Maybe she isn’t really expecting, then I’ll feel like a big HEEL for suggesting that she is 13 weeks along. 🙂

    It’s a dilemma, what should I do???

I need to know factors. How tall is she? Is this her first baby, or her 10th?

But, since I’m an expert on this stuff….(HaHa)….I’ll dive on in and take a guess. I’ll say that she is 11.2 weeks along.

    🙂

    Congratulations, and blessings, Sheri

  2. The funny thing is, Holly, that when I posted this my CoComments listing would give away the age– but you can see for sure by clicking on her picture.

If anyone’s qualified to be an expert at this, it’d be you. 🙂

As for whether it’ll be the female reader magnet you think it will be, we’ll see. I’m running another one again tomorrow so you’ll get another chance!

  3. And now everyone who comes here will know! 🙂

As a sidebar, were you not able to edit your comment? After you post a comment you should be able to edit your comment for up to 30 minutes– you should see that option when you come back. If you weren’t let me know, and I’ll look into it.

  4. No, I could edit it. I see that now. Can you edit mine, so that everyone does not know?

I am not accustomed to being able to edit my comment, even though it is right there in front of my eyes!!!!!

I’m virtually technologically illiterate. I am nothing without my 15 year old son. 🙂

  5. Sure, I can edit it. I also removed your correction.

So, when are you going to make the jump to having your own site instead of being on wordpress.com? I grabbed “seekingfaithfulness.com” if you’re interested…
